How are your cleaners checked?
We have a number of requirements from each cleaner
· Police check
· Liability insurance
· Two employment references who we really call
· Address check via bank statement and utility bill
· We take copies of passports to ensure that that each cleaner has legal right to work in UK
· Each cleaner is required to sign an agreement with the agency ensuring they meet our standards
Are your cleaners insured?
Yes each cleaner is required to have public liability insurance for coverage up to £1 million
Do your cleaners speak English?
Yes, they have basic speaking, reading and writing skills
Can I trust them with the keys?
Yes they have been security screened with police checks but we also provide you with a key security form.
What services do you provide?
· Regular domestic cleaning
· Deep one off cleans
· Office cleaning
· End of tenancy cleans
· Post construction cleans
How does your service work?
You pay the cleaner directly at an agreed rate, you then also pay us a fee for each hour the cleaner works. If you prefer
you can pay a one off fee for £750 for the introduction with no further obligation to Dream it Clean for its fees. You will
then only be responsible for hours worked by the cleaner.
Are the cleaners trained?
Yes, as we are ex-cleaners ourselves we know what clients want and expect in a cleaner
What if I am not happy?
You need to contact us as soon as possible so that we can work to fix the problem. We will be happy to send you a replacement
cleaner who will be more to your liking
What is the minimum time I can get a cleaner for?
3 Hours
What if the cleaner breaks something?
Cleaners have liability insurance, which covers major damage in your home or office. This does not cover bleach damage or
damage to china, glass or earthenware.
Please ensure that all valuables are put away. As we are all human, a cleaner will occasionally break a glass or dish. In
order to avoid frivolous insurance claims there is a £100 excess for major damage in the home.
What if I go on holiday?
You must give us at least 7 days
notice, otherwise you will still be billed for your agency fees.
How quickly can I get a cleaner?
Usually within a few days sometimes quicker. We like to match cleaners close to their homes to minimise the time spent travelling.
How much time will a cleaner need?
For the first visit it will take your cleaner longer than normal. This is because he or she is not familiar with your property
and also because it will need a thorough clean.
Our minimum is 3 hours a visit, which is sufficient for a small flat 1 bedroom flat. A 2-3 bedroom flat may require 4 to
5 hours and a multilevel home or penthouse from 6 to 8. We will discuss the hours required once we speak with you on a one
to one basis.
Do the cleaners also iron?
Yes they do, the hourly rate is the same as for cleaning. They can iron 8 shirts an hour
Is there a long contract?
No, we ask that you sign a minimum contract for 3 months. After that we require that you give us 10 days notice for termination.
How much does it cost?
Regular domestic cleaning is £10 an hour, one off deep cleans are £13 an hour and office cleaning is £13 an hour. Post construction
clean ups are £16 an hour, and end of tenancy clean ups are £15 an hour
How do I pay the cleaner and the agency?
In all cases with the exception of office cleaning, you pay the cleaner the agreed hourly wages with cash or cheque. We invoice
you at the beginning of the month for our hourly commissions which are paid with credit or debit card
